The Iranian and Kurdish Women’s Rights Organisation is pleased and proud to announce that we have passed our Advice Quality Standard audit with flying colours, and were even recommended to be Champions of the AQS due to the clear implementation of policy into practise.
The AQS is awarded to organisations that give advice to members of the public on legal issues. Organisations are audited every two years and have to demonstrate that they are accessible, effectively managed, and employ staff with the skills and knowledge to meet the needs of their clients.
‘This is a vindication of the hard work of our advice team,’ said Director Diana Nammi. ‘This recognition will let everyone know, from women who need help and advice due to violence at home, to those professionals who refer clients to our services that the advice, advocacy and support services that IKWRO provide are first rate.’
